Business 101

Learning Hub workshops

Each week we have workshops targeted to the specific skills needed for BUS101. Our workshops are held on:

Wednesday 2-3pm

Week 1

27 July to 31 July

Work in small groups to identify your learning challenges, use a study planner to plan your B101 course, and take good notes and skim read a text for key ideas. Find your way around Canvas and ask any questions related to studying.

Week 2

3 Aug to 7 Aug

Use a study planner to organise your B101 course. Learn strategies for assignment question deconstruction and planning. Learn how to read your B101 texts for key ideas using your current B101 readings. Ask any questions about studying for this course.

Week 3

10 Aug to 14 Aug

Learn how to find appropriate sources. Find out about essay structure. Learn how to write a paragraph using PEEL and write an introduction and conclusion
